Kid, Henri was listening so much Latina FM. He heard his first Afro, Latin & SouthAmerican  songs at that moment.

He started classic trompet lessons between 1995 and 2002. He studied it during 8 years, including 4 years of a wonderful experience in Swing BigBand with and adult band growing me up fast ! The drummer got me to crazy in this orchestra, he wanted to learn more about this instrument.

Henri started drums in 2001 at 14 learning with k7 & cd. He learn, Rock, Punk Rock, Pop and Reggae.

In high School, Henri take my first lessons during 3 years with. There he practice more jazz.

First graduated, he embark on a journey to meet Michael Jackson (a little late, as mentioned), and later Stevie Wonder.

He travel 1 year in 2007 across Mississipi from Chicago to Louis Ville, Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans & Austin, learning about Black American Music, Rhythms & Spirit.

Between 2008 and 2011, he started traditional jazz studies at Lyon music conservatory as a drummer. He spend 3 years there. And he got back to practice piano & harmony exercices as younger.

In the middle, Henri took a nice break. A 3 month trip  travel in Brasil at Rio de Janeiro, Salvador & Recif Carnaval and Sao Paulo.

There he played with the fabulous Vitor Gonzalvez , his friends of TFT, then Casuarina met at a concert, Gilberto Gil for a moment in Salvador, whithout forgetting the great  musicians from the great Spok Frevo Orchestra, and many more.

He took some Frevo & Maracatu lessons with Marcos Olivera there drummer. And back to Rio with the maestro Nene & the great Marcio Bahia

Marcio is left hand like me, but he playes on left (he is very very musical check out).

In 2011, Henri was accepted at Villeurbanne World Music School for one year and a half. There he learned the basics of AfroCuban Tradition with the cuban maestro Isel Rasua, plus some North African Rythms & Flamenco (even dancing!)

He's been studing for 6 month "Tumbadora y Claves" @ Santiago de Cuba Conservatory with Wilfredo Fuentes (Eliad Ochoa, Familia Valera,... one of the most request there). He also worked with the "Banda de Santiago" (picture).

He spent two weeks in La Havana with the great Rodney Baretto (Havana de Primera) Oliver Valdés (mucha gente...) or Samuel Formell (Los VanVan)

Back home in 2013, Henri starded Montpellier Music Conservatory with the amazing Serge Lazarevitch (french guitar player) during two years.

He learned modern jazz & particularly odd metrics.

Then he challenged himself  and move in 2015 to Paris, France. He learn the best skills close to amazing professionals.

There He's play since this time with Pop Bands, Blues & Funk Bands, Jazz Band & orchestras, Latin Band and World Music...

​

In 2019, He was in Madagascar doing gigs, learning Malagasy & Indian Ocean very surprising rythms (+ incidently diving & kitesurfing).

After he had the opportunity to coach young musical talents before their national booked tour. And finally he helped regular schools for disadvantaged saphire cities.

There he played a couple of concerts with the most popural artists of Madagascar; Teta (south) + the amazing family Monika, Dozzy & Maximin N'Java (Antananarivo & Wildworld).

At the end of 2019 He did his fist big concert home (in Montpellier) with the amazing trumpet player Ibrahim Maalouf.

​

Henri had the delicious pleasure to tour with Gabi Hartmann.

​

A unique exercise for this following man despite his melodic skills and after this decad of rythms travels. Henri is also learning Maloyo rhythms to expand is language while watching over his own.

​

In 2025 Henri meet the great and unic Herbie Hancock.

​

Beside is freelancing carrer, he  developped deep artistic coaching abilities.

​

Also, is now preparing his first album.
